This performance is ongoing. It entails folding and unfolding of a clean white sheet in various sites. This is a piece about the day my Father died of AIDs and how I process that throughout my life.
About Bellavia
Bellavia is a Western New York and New Orlean based artist who has exhibited in local, regional, national and international venues. She received her MFA from Alfred University, Alfred N.Y. and her BFA from Buffalo State College, Buffalo N.Y. Her interests and development span several traditional disciplines including: sculpture, printmaking, drawing and casting. Bellavia works with these various methods and materials to produce work that strives to blend the personal with the objective, going beyond the personal.
